Please join us for the five Wednesdays during Lent beginning February 17th through March 16th, 6—7:30pm.  A delicious dinner, graciously donated by Zilli’s Hospitality Group will be served at 6pm followed by the study.

We are inviting you on a Lenten journey through the gospel of John in the hope of journeying toward a stronger and deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.  The study, John: The Gospel of Light and Life, is a five session study.  We will focus on what the gospel reveals about Jesus as well as being encouraged to look for deeper layers of meaning in the stories of Jesus’ miraculous signs and “I Am” sayings.  We will also look at Jesus’ Farewell Discourse on the night of the last supper with his disciples as well as the events of his arrest, trial, and crucifixion.

The goal of the study is to have each participant read the entire gospel of John.  The session study makes use of two components:  The study book,  John:  The Gospel of Light and Life, by Adam Hamilton and a DVD in which Hamilton uses stories and scriptures to expand upon key points from the book.

Please pick up a book ($10—one per family) in the church office and read the first chapter prior to our first meeting on February 17.  There is a companion study for the children.  Nursery care is also available.

For planning purposes, please sign up by calling the office at 262-691-3240.  You do not need to come to all five nights; but please let us know which evenings you will be attending.  Thank you!

Gethsemane Nights is open to EVERYONE—families, couples and singles!  Join us for five evenings of fellowship with your Gethsemane family.
