Dan Holmes first picked up a guitar when he was 10 years old. Even though he was the son of a United Methodist minister, he wasn’t too interested in playing church or religious music. It wasn’t until he was attending Chicago Theological Seminary that he learned he had a gift for writing and performing Christian music.
“I believe I am called by God to celebrate through music the extraordinary presence of Jesus in an ordinary world. Through the sharing of music, we can celebrate what God is doing in us, for us and through us! I am an old school singer/songwriter bringing a Christian message of hope! I pray that our paths will cross and we can celebrate together!”
Dan will share his music on Sunday, July 3rd at the 9:30am worship service.
