We are glad you have taken an interest in Gethsemane United Methodist Church. Our faith community is a diverse group of people who come from a variety of faith backgrounds and experiences. You will find a God-centered, caring community of individuals who are excited about extending the love, hope and joy of the Lord within the community and throughout the world.

We welcome and invite you to participate in our programs and ministries. You do not need to be a “member.” Everyone is welcome.

XYZ = "EXTRA YEARS OF ZEST" SENIOR GROUP
TUESDAY, MAY 1

Our first "event" will be a trip to the Domes (Mitchell Park Conservatory) on Tuesday, May 1st. We will meet at the church at 9:45am and carpool to the Domes at 10am. There will be a tour guide who will meet us in the lobby and give us a brief education on the Domes history, design and construction and then take us through the 3 domes. Following the tour, we will go to lunch at a nearby restaurant and then carpool back to the church. The cost of the Domes Tour is $7.50 per person and of course, your lunch.

SUMMER SAFETY PROGRAM
FOR KIDS AND FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS
SATURDAY, MAY 12 9AM—NOON

Prepare for a fun and safe summer with this special program led by ProHealth Care pediatrician Heather Sielaff, M.D. Learn tips on the following: Sunburn, hydration, heat-related illness, food poisoning, poison ivy, safe rides, playground safety, water safety, bug bites and stings.

Following the presentation will be Bike Helmet Fitting for toddlers through adults! Fitters are certified through Safe Kids. The helmets are sold at cost at $10 each! You are not required to purchase a helmet to attend this Summer Safety Program.

Following the ProHealth program and helmet fitting, the Pewaukee Fire Department will be here with some of their vehicles and will speak on Fire Safety.

LIVING COMPASS WOMEN’S MINI RETREAT
THURSDAY, MAY 17, 6:30—9PM

This evening retreat is for women who are searching for more balance in their lives.

Participants will come away from the evening with a snap shot of their life as it is on that evening and will also have some action steps in mind so that they can intentionally begin to work towards creating a life of balance.

The evening will begin with a potluck of appetizers and desserts at 6:30pm followed by a presentation at 7pm.

This seminar will be presented by Holly Stoner of Samaritan Family Wellness.
